Role Overview
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in managing and nurturing supplier partnerships to maintain a robust pipeline of attractive travel products that align with our sales and expansion targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contracting processes year-round for assigned destinations and product lines.
- Negotiate competitive rates, inclusions, and offers with travel, tourism, and accommodation suppliers.
- Establish and sustain strong supplier relationships to drive long-term commercial success.
- Identify and capitalize on new product opportunities by collaborating with partners to develop appealing holiday packages.
- Create and maintain a consistent stream of offers supporting promotional activities across distribution channels.
- Coordinate with airline partners when applicable to secure tactical airfare deals that enhance customer options.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue, Air, Finance, and Operations departments to successfully launch offers to market.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and destination performance to pinpoint growth avenues.
- Ensure accuracy and timely maintenance of contracts, pricing, and product information.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative product team environment.
Candidate Profile
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on negotiation and partnership building.
- Experience in travel product management, contracting, tourism, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Proficient in managing supplier relationships at various organizational levels.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Strong organization, time management, and the capability to handle competing priorities effectively.
- Commercial acumen to identify opportunities that benefit customers and partners alike.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality results.
- Proactive and positive mindset with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
