You will work closely with senior product leaders and cross-functional teams to shape, launch, and improve customer propositions across Singapore-issued American Express Cards. The role calls for a blend of strategic thinking, commercial awareness, customer orientation, and disciplined execution to create value for both card members and the business.
The portfolio covers card products, strategic benefits, partnerships, event experiences, and loyalty programmes. While the initial focus may be on one area, the role is expected to develop flexible product management capability and may move across portfolios as business needs change.
Product Management Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver initiatives across products, benefits, partnerships, loyalty programmes, and customer experiences to support growth, engagement, and profitability.
- Review portfolio, customer, and campaign results to spot patterns, opportunities, and risks.
- Create and roll out product and portfolio plans that align with business goals and customer expectations.
- Carry out market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer insight reviews to uncover trends and emerging needs.
- Help shape compelling customer value propositions and differentiated offers.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring for the assigned portfolios.
- Oversee the daily running of products, benefits, partnerships, and loyalty initiatives.
- Coordinate approvals, communications, operational workflows, and governance steps needed for successful delivery.
- Keep product details and customer-facing messaging accurate across relevant channels.
- Prepare slides, reports, and business updates for leaders and stakeholders.
- Ensure all assigned work meets governance, risk, compliance, and operational standards.
Partnerships and Event Experience Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key partners, merchants, service providers, and other external stakeholders.
- Look for ways to enhance customer value through strategic partnerships, exclusive benefits, and distinctive experiences.
- Support commercial conversations, partnership negotiations, contract administration, and regular partner performance reviews.
- Work with partners to design and deliver initiatives that drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Plan and execute customer events and experiences, handling timelines, budgets, stakeholders, vendors, and logistics for smooth delivery.
- Assess event performance and suggest improvements using customer feedback, engagement data, and business results.
Qualifications
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with experience in product management, partnerships, loyalty, marketing, financial services, business strategy, or another commercial function. Candidates should bring strong analytical ability and the capacity to turn data and insights into practical recommendations.
Applicants should also be comfortable managing several priorities at once and delivering in a fast-moving environment. Experience in financial services, marketing, loyalty programmes, partnerships, or premium customer segments is an advantage. Familiarity with analytics, business performance reporting, budgeting, or marketing effectiveness measurement is also helpful.
