Role Summary

The Product Manager for Fan Data Products will lead the vision, development roadmap, and prioritization of the fan data ecosystem supporting Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This position involves translating broad business goals related to fan engagement, marketing, fundraising, commercialization, analytics, and digital experience into scalable, sophisticated data product solutions focusing on identity management, fan preferences, audience activation, intelligence, and partner data enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and continuously refine a multi-year product strategy for the fan data platform aligned with organizational objectives through LA28.
  • Develop detailed roadmaps encompassing identity resolution, preference center improvements, audience engagement, consent governance, fan intelligence, data sharing, and clean room capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, digital, ticketing, commercial, content, and technology teams to identify and evaluate opportunities and needs.
  • Translate business needs into clear, prioritized product backlogs and detailed requirements.
  • Lead discovery activities using data analysis, research, and experimentation to validate product opportunities, and balance trade-offs among impact, complexity, risk, and alignment.
  • Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, producing detailed product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure product designs harmonize fan experience quality, technical viability, privacy compliance, and scalability.
  • Drive consensus on prioritization amid competing demands.
  • Define measurable KPIs and success metrics, track performance, adoption, and use data insights for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and platform investments within fan data ecosystems, activation tools, identity solutions, and data-sharing environments.
  • Partner with engineering and platform owners to ensure scalable, future-proof product delivery.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to minimize operational challenges via product enhancements.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or comparable professional experience.
  • Over seven years of product management experience, ideally with data-driven or marketing technology products.
  • Strong expertise in customer data architecture, identity resolution, audience segmentation, consent and preference management.
  • Experience with API-centric product ecosystems and first-party activation channels.
  • History of managing product roadmaps and backlogs effectively.
  • Proficient stakeholder management and translating technical complexity into tangible business value.
  • Industry exposure to sports, media, entertainment, or consumer engagement platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, clean rooms, personalization engines, loyalty and fan engagement frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer service orientation, active listening, problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate discretion.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and strategic plus operational thinking to solve problems creatively and proactively.
  • Appreciation and alignment with the Olympic and Paralympic Movement’s mission and values.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily remote position.
  • Standard office environment when onsite, with typical office equipment.
  • Some domestic and international travel required.
  • Occasional non-standard working hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Consistent attendance is an essential job function.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $100,000 to $112,000 annually.
  • Full-time exempt role with an expected 40-hour workweek.
  • Eligibility for an annual incentive program with a 15% target bonus, subject to change at employer’s discretion.
