Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to oversee our Fraud Prevention product suite focused on mobile and CTV (Connected TV) platforms. This position involves leading product development in fraud detection by analyzing extensive advertising datasets and collaborating with the data science team to transform these insights into robust fraud prevention features. The ideal candidate will possess profound knowledge of ad fraud, botnets, and online digital threats, coupled with expertise in SQL and data analysis, allowing them to design practical solutions that safeguard client advertising investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the general manager for the Fraud Prevention product suite, taking full ownership.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and global correlations that translate into product enhancements.
- Partner closely with data scientists to develop and integrate new fraud detection and prevention algorithms into products.
- Collaborate with product operations to plan and execute periodic product updates and releases.
- Lead documentation efforts, launch strategies, go-to-market planning, and product positioning and messaging.
- Develop, update, and communicate the product roadmap and strategy for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Work alongside product marketing to craft compelling product messaging and value propositions.
- Engage with media representatives and industry analysts by providing product briefings and participating in reports.
- Support sales and business development teams by showcasing product roadmaps and conducting demonstrations of new features to clients and prospects.
- Represent the company in industry panels and at cross-company initiatives such as those organized by IAB, MRC, and TAG.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive expertise and solid understanding of various online fraud types including advertising fraud, payment fraud, botnets, and phishing attacks.
- Minimum of five years’ experience developing B2B SaaS enterprise products with a focus on fraud detection/prevention, malware analysis, or threat intelligence.
- Proficiency with SQL and skilled at querying data warehouse systems.
- Firm grasp of computer networking fundamentals such as IP stack, HTTP, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, DNS, and web proxies.
- Thorough understanding of the mobile ecosystem's specific fraud detection challenges.
- Up-to-date awareness of enterprise security market trends with knowledge of best security practices, significant historic cyber-attacks, and emerging prevention strategies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent engineering education/experience.
- Knowledge of botnet structures, exploit kits, and malware behaviors.
- A proactive, can-do attitude willing to travel on short notice to clients and headquarters as needed.
