Job description

Role overview

The Product Designer / Graphic Designer will shape clear, user-friendly digital experiences and create polished visual assets that support both product usability and the organisation’s brand identity. The position blends UX-focused thinking with strong visual storytelling to produce work that is both practical and visually refined across digital and marketing channels.

What you will do

This role covers the creation of user interfaces, user experiences, brand assets, marketing materials, presentations, and other digital content aligned with business goals and audience needs. You will build wireframes, user journeys, prototypes, mockups, icons, illustrations, and production-ready graphics, while keeping a consistent look and feel across products and communication touchpoints.

You will work closely with product managers, developers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to convert requirements into effective design outcomes. The role also involves contributing to design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines so that products remain scalable, cohesive, and consistent over time.

In addition, you will support user research, usability testing, competitor review, and design assessment work to uncover ways to improve accessibility, usability, and visual impact. You will also assist with branding work, campaign development, and creative content production, while keeping up to date with evolving design trends, tools, and best practices.

Collaboration and continuous improvement are central to this position, including taking part in design critiques, applying stakeholder input, refining workflows, and delivering high-quality creative solutions that balance business priorities with user expectations.

Qualifications and skills

The ideal candidate should have a solid grounding in product design, UX/UI, graphic design, visual communication, and user-centred design methods, with the ability to create appealing and easy-to-use digital experiences.

Experience with standard design, prototyping, and illustration tools is important for producing interfaces, interactive prototypes, marketing creatives, and final production assets. Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and design systems would be beneficial.

A strong understanding of typography, colour, layout, branding, information structure, and visual hierarchy is essential, along with a sharp eye for detail and consistency.

You should also bring strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to turn business requirements, user insights, and stakeholder feedback into practical and original design solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills are needed to explain design choices clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle. Good organisation, flexibility, creativity, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a busy environment are also important.
