This includes global expansion, integrating AI technologies, and extending into B2B markets.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Designer to be the sole design expert, contributing across our consumer application, website funnels, AI-driven features, and B2B products. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will influence product decisions and design direction. This maternity cover role begins in mid to late October 2026 with strong potential to transition into a permanent position as equ expands.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design efforts across mobile apps, web funnels, and B2B solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product on discovery, strategy, and prioritization.
• Translate user and business challenges into intuitive workflows, prototypes, and refined user interfaces.
• Investigate practical AI applications to personalize and enhance the equ user experience.
• Conduct research, usability testing, and gather feedback from the community.
• Develop and maintain the design system supporting both consumer and partner-facing products.
• Partner with engineers to ensure design quality and assist during implementation.
• Assist in crafting marketing assets supporting growth and product marketing efforts as needed.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 3 years experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong product insight, craftsmanship, and measurable user impact.
• Exceptional UX judgment, visual design taste, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Figma for mobile and web design.
• Experience with product discovery, user research, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems.
• An insightful understanding of how AI can enhance product design and workflows.
• Ability to operate independently within a dynamic startup environment.
• Interest in nutrition, health, and designing for behavioral change.
