Role Overview
The Product Consultant specializing in life and wealth products delivers expert advice, support, and detailed guidance to financial Advisors. This role entails clarifying product features, benefits, and applications while providing timely and accurate responses to Advisor inquiries. Collaborating closely with Senior Product Consultants, the consultant aligns product expertise with organizational goals to enhance success. Excellent communication, in-depth product knowledge, and problem-solving are critical for exceptional Advisor support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized knowledge on life and wealth products to assist Advisors in understanding product nuances.
- Work collaboratively with Advisors to incorporate products into their business plans for goal achievement.
- Proactively aid Advisors in refining their business approaches through insightful product strategy guidance.
- Review and assess Advisor performance data to pinpoint improvement opportunities and provide targeted assistance.
- Coordinate efforts with Senior Product Consultants to ensure product expertise strategies are consistent with overall business objectives.
- Engage with Marketing and Sales departments to unify messaging and product support.
- Assist in developing training programs that improve Advisors' proficiency in life insurance and wealth management products.
- Identify and promote enhancements to processes relating to financial product management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience within the insurance industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of effectively conveying product knowledge.
- Experienced in creating and delivering training programs and educational materials.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial services products including life insurance, mutual funds, and segregated funds with knowledge of their features and benefits.
- Familiarity with business planning techniques and management strategies to support Advisor outcomes.
- Capability to align product expertise with overarching business objectives, contributing positively to company success.
- A client-centered approach prioritizing Advisor needs and ensuring alignment with excellent service delivery.
