Role Overview
As a Procurement Specialist, you will help shape and execute procurement plans for the Sales Market, with a focus on building an efficient, compliant, and forward-looking supplier network aligned with Global C&F standards. The role involves leading sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance activities to support strong partnerships, reliable compliance, and cost-conscious, high-quality operations across markets.
This position is based in the New York Support Office and reports to the Facilities & Procurement Manager. It is described as a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create procurement strategies for your Sales Market and align them closely with the Global and Sales Market Construction & Facilities teams.
- Oversee the governance of market agreements through ongoing follow-up and strategic meetings with key vendors.
- Define goals and KPIs for procurement and supplier management activities.
- Help maintain procurement audits and assessments, including material and execution reviews.
- Ensure there are enough qualified partners to support expansion, service delivery, and improved investment and cost efficiency.
- Assist Sales Market teams with procurement execution.
- Maintain procurement tools and templates, both within LIMA and outside it, including RFI/RFP and agreement templates.
- Review, revise, and draft general documentation for Sales Market C&F teams in cooperation with the Legal department.
- Serve as a procurement subject matter expert and provide guidance across the organization.
- Help develop procurement guidelines and keep Sales Markets informed about updated requirements.
- Train Sales Market teams on procurement, supplier management, and negotiation practices.
- Work closely with Construction & Facilities teams across the Sales Market.
- Represent the Sales Market in procurement forums and act as a partner to other functions.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in Law, Facility Management, Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
- Procurement certifications are considered an advantage.
- Strong capability in procurement and negotiation.
- Proven strength in supplier management.
- A strategic way of thinking, supported by strong analytical and structured working skills.
- Comfort using MS Office tools.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or a similar function.
- Experience in retail facilities and/or construction management is beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in building and implementing procurement strategies.
- Experience in an international matrix organization with multiple stakeholders and different seniority levels.
- A communication style that is supportive and consultative, with a disciplined, resilient approach and a strong focus on results and collaboration.

Compensation and Employment Details
