Job Overview
This position works closely with business units and global procurement partners to align business goals, focusing on category management, digital tools, and data-driven insights to drive procurement success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement outcomes through comprehensive category management, ensuring global strategies are effectively executed locally to sustain value and supply security.
- Lead category analytics for spend transparency, cost analysis, and savings monitoring using digital platforms.
- Create and maintain advanced financial reports and dashboards, including Power BI applications.
- Oversee contract compliance, lifecycle management, and governance.
- Execute procurement processes per Source-to-Contract (S2C) standards, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Support strategy implementation for assigned categories balancing global directions with local business needs.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, value enhancement, innovation, and supplier development.
- Promote localization and supplier innovation efforts alongside global teams.
- Conduct sourcing activities across the procurement lifecycle: demand analysis, tender support, bid evaluation, negotiation participation, contracting, and handover.
- Ensure contractual obligations are monitored, renewals managed, and compliance enforced.
- Develop procurement dashboards and analytics tools to support decision making and digitization initiatives.
- Foster relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across departments to drive performance management.
- Monitor market trends, cost fluctuations, and supply-demand balances aiding business planning and budgeting.
Experience and Educational Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of direct category management experience with a strong sense of financial and commercial skills aimed at value delivery and negotiations.
- Total 8 to 10 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with proven strategic category management and business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Advanced qualifications in management, procurement, or supply chain are favorable.
