Position Overview

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a part-time probationary position as a Family School Liaison Worker at Holy Trinity Academy located in Drayton Valley, Alberta. The role is set to commence on August 25, 2026, with negotiable working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and consult effectively as a member of the school intervention team.
• Provide expert advice on issues such as attendance, confidentiality, mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
• Support school staff by enhancing their understanding of diverse topics including mental health, trauma, grief and loss, and self-regulation.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of school programs related to student well-being and support.

Required Qualifications and Qualities

• A degree in social work or relevant educational experience in a similar field.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
• Knowledge of the Catholic faith or openness to contribute in a Catholic school setting.
