The Operational Support Grade (OSG) plays a crucial role in the smooth daily operation of busy prisons such as HMP Grendon and Springhill. This varied position combines administrative tasks with physical duties such as conducting security and searches at entrances, overseeing deliveries, supervising visitors, monitoring phone calls, and managing CCTV surveillance. The job also includes walking and escorting vehicles within the prison grounds, ensuring operational security and support.

Work Schedule and Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

Salary of 29,432 annually
Starting with 25 days of annual leave, increasing to 30 days after ten years of service, prorated as applicable
