Role overview

HM Prison and Probation Service is hiring an Operational Support Grade for HMP Isle of Wight. This position plays an important role in the smooth, safe, day-to-day operation of a busy prison.

The job is active and varied, combining desk-based tasks with hands-on work such as lifting, carrying, walking across prison grounds, and escorting vehicles. Core duties include security checks, gate searches, handling deliveries, supervising visitors, and observing phone calls and CCTV.
