Role Overview

Aldar Academies seeks an exceptional Primary Class Teacher for Key Stage 2 to join Mamoura British Academy starting August 2026. This opportunity allows you to become part of a leading educational group in Abu Dhabi and contribute to shaping future learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a supportive and approachable team member, communicating effectively across all levels.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with all members of the school community.
• Deliver instruction across all subjects of the Primary English National Curriculum effectively.
• Organize classrooms and resources and design engaging displays to promote a positive learning atmosphere and support the school’s distinct educational approach.
• Offer targeted support and interventions to students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) or additional learning needs.
• Coordinate with specialists such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists as required.
• Contribute to school-wide teaching and learning improvements through sharing best practices and participating in continuous professional development (CPD) and teaching initiatives.
• Incorporate innovative technology creatively within lesson delivery and ongoing learning activities.
• Be accountable for students’ academic progress and attainment, striving for outcomes exceeding expected standards.
• Maintain rigorous assessment records and utilize the Learning Ladders system for monitoring student development.
• Provide consistent progress feedback to parents and carers during conferences and meetings.
• Adhere to the school’s behavior management policies, promoting TRACK Values to foster high standards.
• Ensure behavior and safeguarding concerns are properly documented and addressed using CPOMS.
• Participate actively in curriculum action groups, assisting with planning, assessment, resource management, and special events.
• Support and engage in school outings, events, and activities, which may occasionally occur outside regular hours.
• Lead a weekly extracurricular club each term aimed at enriching student experiences.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated teaching experience within the English National Curriculum framework, especially across varied age groups within primary education.
• Proven ability to work resiliently under pressure, solve problems effectively, and maintain commitment to ongoing professional growth.
• Experience working in multiple international schools is considered advantageous.
