President - Nonwoven Textiles Manufacturing (North & South America)

About the Company

This opportunity is with a subsidiary of a well-established privately owned British multinational manufacturing group with headquarters in the UK and operations across the UK, North America, Mexico, China, and Malaysia. The business manufactures and distributes specialist non-woven textiles and related products serving the Commercial Laundry sector, with established market presence in North and South America.

Role Overview

The President will have full profit and loss responsibility and manage the operational performance of a $7 million plus business located in Aiken, SC. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, the role involves overseeing business unit performance with strong recurring revenues and a loyal customer base. Growth is expected through product innovation and increased market share.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy focusing on market expansion, pricing strategies, operational efficiency, and sustainable EBITDA growth aligned to Group objectives.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve corporate targets, articulating the organization’s value proposition through client engagements.
• Serve as the main external liaison, offering sales and technical expertise to key customers and markets.
• Manage strategic supply chain relationships, including weekly coordination with group entities for raw material procurement.
• Oversee production activities such as order scheduling and chemical batch processing operations.
• Drive development of new business opportunities and markets with a proactive approach to strategic planning and long-term value creation.
• Provide structured and timely financial and operational performance reports to the Group Board.
• Direct the annual budgeting and expenditure control processes with thorough analysis.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, quality, and corporate governance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced senior leader with proven P&L accountability from a commercial or manufacturing background; specific experience in Nonwoven textiles, Industrial Laundry, or related sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated success in driving commercial growth by attracting new customers, expanding market share, launching new services, enhancing operations, and sustaining revenue growth.
• Visible, credible leader with a hands-on approach; capable of providing clear direction and excelling in communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial, financial, and negotiation skills, with comprehensive experience in budgeting and financial management.
