President-in-Transition - Future Leader of Small Manufacturing Companies

About the Company and Role

Finish Tech Corp operates in industries such as films, converting, coatings, laminating, and dry erase films and boards. This is an on-site position located at our manufacturing facility in Warminster, PA.

The current owner is retiring within 1 to 3 years and is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial individual for a unique leadership transition role. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the owner and leadership team to fully understand the company’s operations, products, markets, and personnel, preparing to take on the President role in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive knowledge of all company operations.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.
• Strengthen and expand the company's presence in key markets.
• Drive innovation and fuel future growth opportunities.
• Assume full executive leadership as President according to a predefined succession timeline.
• Participate in occasional overnight travel to meet with customers, vendors, industry partners, and attend trade shows.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Preferred candidates bring expertise in one of these areas:

• Technical or industry experience in film converting, specialty materials, or flexible packaging.
• Background in business growth and innovation, demonstrated by launching new products, entering new markets, or strong capabilities in business development, commercialization, or product management.
• Experience working in small manufacturing settings is advantageous.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields; MBA or equivalent strategic business leadership experience is highly valued.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, product development, or technical sales.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and senior staff.
• Strong communication, decision-making skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset with a long-term vision.
