Job Overview

The Premises Attendant role at Family Guardian Insurance is pivotal for maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the facility. The incumbent is expected not only to uphold cleanliness but also to have a firm understanding of accepted cleaning protocols, safety regulations, and occupational hazards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, safety guidelines, and occupational hazard precautions.
• Carry out routine household cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, washing walls and windows, and managing trash disposal to maintain an orderly workspace.
• Ensure that all common areas such as halls, lobbies, kitchens/kitchenettes, offices, and cubicles are cleaned thoroughly adhering to Family Guardian standards.
• Replenish supplies in bathrooms and kitchen areas daily while upholding hygiene and cleanliness.
• Maintain cleaned surfaces and floors consistently throughout working hours.

Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a High School Diploma.
• Experience in cleaning roles within a structured environment, demonstrating ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills to accurately interpret and follow instructions.
• Capability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more regularly.
• Physical endurance for repetitive motions such as bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Efficiency in handling high volume workloads with attention to detail and speed.
• Proactive problem-solving skills enabling independent resolution of issues.
