Role Overview and Duties
- Properly hang garments to prepare them for processing through the steam tunnel.
- Conduct a detailed visual inspection of all garments to identify tears, holes, stains, or any damage.
- Ensure garments meet all criteria outlined in the UniFirst 10-point uniform inspection checklist before processing.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures provided during training.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support team operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Effective verbal communication skills to interact clearly with supervisors.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction of two-digit numbers, and multiplication/division by 10s and 100s, along with familiarity with American standard units of measurement (weight, volume, distance).
- Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and push weights up to 25 pounds.
