Role Overview
The Maintenance Technician is a reliable, proactive individual experienced in building and property upkeep. You will identify maintenance issues promptly, propose effective solutions to maintain quality and safety standards, and handle emergency requests, small construction tasks, and routine inspections with a customer-focused mindset. Please note this position operates on the second shift, from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system and building repairs along with preventative maintenance tasks promptly.
- Support the Chief Engineer and Building Engineer with all aspects of site operation and upkeep.
- Respond to assigned work orders and complete projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of experience in building or property maintenance.
- Familiarity with work order and preventative maintenance management software.
- Hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC maintenance, painting, drywall work, and basic carpentry or light construction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Preferred OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety certification.
- Availability and flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside regular working hours.
- Strong organizational abilities and effective prioritization skills.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
