About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Family Office based in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, capital raising initiatives, investor relations, and enhancing the investment platform through robust processes and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute investment strategies in both public and private markets.
- Oversee discretionary portfolios including asset allocation, portfolio structuring, risk controls, and performance monitoring.
- Identify investment opportunities through in-depth fundamental analysis, selecting appropriate managers, and exploring direct investments.
- Continuously track portfolio risk metrics, liquidity, and returns, and provide timely recommendations to the Principal.
- Lead comprehensive due diligence activities for fund investments, co-investment deals, and direct transactions.
- Facilitate capital raising by cultivating relationships with external investors, strategic collaborators, and institutional allocators.
- Assist in creating fundraising presentations, investment documentation, and maintaining clear communication with investors.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with private banks, other family offices, fund managers, and institutional stakeholders.
- Develop and improve investment processes, portfolio reporting mechanisms, and governance structures.
- Engage and network with external fund managers, investment banking entities, private equity, and venture capital firms.
- Support strategic initiatives, market research, and preparation of investment committee materials alongside the Principal.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields; professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, or MBA are preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of investment experience within Family Offices, Hedge Funds, Asset Management, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Institutional Investment platforms.
- Proven successful track record managing institutional or proprietary capital with real money investment experience.
- Strong expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and conducting investment research across public and/or private market sectors.
- Experience in performing rigorous investment due diligence and assessing external fund managers or direct deals.
- Familiarity with fundraising, limited partner relationship management, or investor relations is highly advantageous.
- Excellent abilities in financial analysis, communication, and presentation.
