The Scion Group is seeking a committed Porter/Gatekeeper to ensure top-quality care and upkeep of common areas within a residential property. The individual will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and overall condition indoors and outdoors. This role supports property operations including general maintenance, cleaning, and moving duties, all centered around delivering excellent customer service and promoting a cooperative work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold property condition adhering to The Scion Group’s standards, OSHA regulations, and industry practices.
• Carry out physically intensive tasks to maintain property features while mitigating liability risks.
• Continuously clear trash and debris from shared spaces.
• Sweep sidewalks, parking lots, curbs, stairways as scheduled.
• Fix loose stair treads and manage exterior lighting replacements, reporting inventory status.
• Conduct lawn mowing, trimming, raking, leaf removal, and maintain planting beds as per schedule.
• Apply lawn care treatments including weed control, fertilization, overseeding, and watering.
• Install seasonal plants and landscaping elements such as shrubs, trees, rocks, and water features.
• Prune trees and shrubs and maintain irrigation systems and fountains.
• Clean and maintain pools and spas following manufacturer standards and code compliance, including minor repairs.
• Understand and execute property emergency protocols and engage safety measures.
• Ensure drainage systems stay clear and pressure-wash property exteriors as necessary.
• Provide snow removal support when required.
• Wear the designated uniform and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
• Participate in trainings related to job duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school certificate, plus at least one year full-time experience in lawn or grounds maintenance, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to comprehend work instructions and accurately document labor and materials used.
• Dependable, punctual, capable of meeting deadlines, with flexibility for after-hours and weekend emergency response.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Physical capability to stand for 8+ hours daily and lift up to 100 pounds as necessary.

Additional Information
