Job description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations related to pool systems, plant equipment, and associated components.
- Conduct necessary water testing and ensure water balance parameters meet policy standards and Dubai Municipality regulations for pools and water features.
- Coordinate with engineering stores to maintain adequate chemical inventory levels.
- Perform daily inspections of all pools and support third-party water safety audits.
- Complete assigned work orders, planned preventive maintenance (PPMs), and corrective work actions (CWAs) as instructed.
- Report any issues or malfunctions promptly to supervisors and colleagues.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pool Technician within hotel engineering or general engineering roles.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in the hotel industry.
- Possession of a High School Diploma.
- Trade certification in Mechanical or Plumbing disciplines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural teams.
- Proficient command of English language, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and practical experience in plumbing and pool maintenance and repairs.
