Pool Technician

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations related to pool systems, plant equipment, and associated components.
• Conduct necessary water testing and ensure water balance parameters meet policy standards and Dubai Municipality regulations for pools and water features.
• Coordinate with engineering stores to maintain adequate chemical inventory levels.
• Perform daily inspections of all pools and support third-party water safety audits.
• Complete assigned work orders, planned preventive maintenance (PPMs), and corrective work actions (CWAs) as instructed.
• Report any issues or malfunctions promptly to supervisors and colleagues.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Pool Technician within hotel engineering or general engineering roles.
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in the hotel industry.
• Possession of a High School Diploma.
• Trade certification in Mechanical or Plumbing disciplines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural teams.
• Proficient command of English language, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge and practical experience in plumbing and pool maintenance and repairs.
