Role overview
Join the Livestream Team to help shape and enforce policies that support a high-quality, varied, and engaging live-streaming experience. The team focuses on creating a safe, healthy, and fast-moving real-time interaction environment for users and creators, with policies that are clear, defensible, and transparent. The work includes reducing harmful content, spotting new risks early, and countering bad actors while supporting the broader TikTok LIVE ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Create and continuously improve monetization-related policies and procedures for TikTok LIVE, balancing the needs of users, creators, and the brand.
- Keep policy documents current, organized, and readily available for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Research policy trends, legal and regulatory updates, and changes in livestreaming and content moderation practices.
- Use data analysis to identify potential risks tied to LIVE monetization and help reduce them proactively.
- Partner with Legal, Product, Operations, and other teams to align policy design with execution.
- Measure how well policies are working through key metrics and stakeholder feedback, then recommend refinements.
- Work with training partners to create and roll out guidance for content reviewers on livestream monetization rules.
Qualifications
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree or higher and more than 5 years of relevant experience. You should have strong awareness of content, culture, political context, and regulatory developments, along with a solid grasp of internet industry trends. The position also requires excellent communication, sound judgment, structured problem-solving, and the ability to produce accurate, well-organized work. Success in this role depends on being comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
