The role involves performing a range of plumbing tasks essential to maintaining both commercial and residential facilities' plumbing systems at Celebration Key, Bahamas.

Core Duties

• Use various power tools, sewer cleaning machines, hand tools, and specialized plumbing equipment to carry out job functions.
• Replace seals in water closets and clean water filtration systems; clear blockages from sinks, toilets, and drains.
• Maintain and repair piping and associated plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Respond swiftly to emergency mechanical system issues, including flooding events.
• Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures as needed.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems regularly to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Install valves, fittings, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures in both commercial and residential buildings.
• Work collaboratively with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Follow building blueprints and construction plans accurately.
• Diagnose and address plumbing emergencies promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and drainage infrastructure.
• Perform ancillary construction-related tasks such as light carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling work, and minor electrical tasks as required, while maintaining precise records of materials utilized.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
