Role Overview
We are seeking a Women's First Team Player Care Manager who will deliver comprehensive operational, logistical, and wellbeing support to the women’s football team players. This role ensures smooth integration for both local and international players into the club and community, managing off-field logistics and personal support to optimize player performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate relocation and onboarding processes including securing suitable, safe, and fully furnished housing in Al Khobar for players and staff.
- Manage player arrivals, temporary accommodations, transportation orientation, and assist with setup of bank accounts, mobile phones, utilities, and internet services.
- Collaborate with HR and Government Relations to organize visas, residency permits (Iqama), and medical screenings.
- Serve as the main off-pitch contact for all player and staff welfare needs, including healthcare and daily living assistance.
- Provide cultural orientation sessions and promote community integration for international players, including support with family needs like school enrollment and childcare.
- Coordinate team operations for matchdays such as managing hotel accommodations during away games, handling ticket requests for family and friends, and working alongside marketing and commercial teams to arrange player appearances while prioritizing welfare.
- Organize life skills workshops covering financial literacy, media training, and career transition planning.
- Manage offboarding processes for departing players, ensuring smooth transitions and logistics.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 2–3 years in an elite sports environment, preferably football related to player care, welfare, or operations.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian culture and challenges faced by relocating international players.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
- Highly organized, capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities.
- Ability to remain composed and resolve complex logistical issues under pressure.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
Desirable:
- Experience working within women’s professional sports.
- Degree in Sports Management, Psychology, Social Work, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience supporting international athlete relocations and coordinating education, wellbeing, or lifestyle initiatives.
