About the Role
Join Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club, a prestigious sports institution dedicated to creating a lasting legacy beyond the game itself. As the Women's Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will play a pivotal role in the physical development and athletic performance of female players aged 11 to 17 within the Women's Academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs for gym and pitch settings.
- Enhance athletic qualities such as strength, speed, movement skills, and overall physical performance.
- Coordinate physical conditioning with weekly training alongside coaching staff.
- Apply injury prevention strategies to enhance player durability and availability.
- Track and monitor player progress using effective athlete monitoring systems.
- Deliver tailored long-term athletic development plans considering growth and maturation.
- Support development of physical standards aligned with the academy’s playing philosophy.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including performance and medical staff.
- Contribute actively to evolving the Women’s Academy’s physical development framework and culture.
- Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in youth athletic development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Sports Science, Strength and Conditioning, or a related discipline.
- Accredited Strength and Conditioning qualification (e.g., UKSCA, NSCA CSCS, or equivalent).
- Experience in youth sports or football environments, particularly with female athlete development.
- Strong understanding of long-term athlete development principles.
- Proficiency in delivering both gym-based and on-field training sessions.
- Effective communication, organizational ability, and teamwork skills.
- Adaptable, proactive mindset with a solutions-oriented approach to performance enhancement.
- Experience with athlete monitoring technologies such as GPS is advantageous.
- Knowledge of growth and maturation processes is preferred.
- Experience in establishing or enhancing high-performance environments is a plus.
- A passion for fostering long-term development in women’s football is desirable.
