Platform Engineer

Role Overview

We invite applications for the position of Platform Engineer to become a key member of our cloud platform team. Your mission will be to develop, manage, and refine a cutting-edge Azure-based platform that supports enterprise-level workloads.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Automate provisioning and deployment processes using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Develop and sustain platform functionalities leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement monitoring and observability frameworks with Elastic Cloud and OpenTelemetry.
• Guarantee security, governance, compliance, and platform stability across multiple environments.
• Enable self-service platform features tailored for application teams.
• Establish and enhance operational procedures, monitoring systems, and service reliability standards.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and initiate preventative solutions.
• Collaborate extensively with Product, Site Reliability Engineering, and Development teams to drive continuous platform improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related positions.
• Proficient practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Expert skills in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Familiarity with Elastic Cloud for observability and monitoring concepts.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and Git workflows.
• Understanding of microservices architectures and cloud-native deployment strategies.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Clear communication and effective team collaboration aptitude.
• Enthusiasm for crafting secure, dependable, scalable, and cost-effective platforms.
