SAFe Product Owner

About the role

We are hiring a SAFe Product Owner to strengthen a team that focuses on delivering business value. In this position, you will act as the main customer representative within an Agile team while keeping the team aligned with the broader solution direction throughout development.

What you will do

• Represent the customer perspective and business priorities inside the Agile team and the wider product organization.
• Take part in Program Increment (PI) planning as part of the broader Product Management group.
• Build, refine, and keep the team backlog current using input from stakeholders and the team.
• Review and prioritize backlog items ahead of Iteration Planning.
• Provide clear detail on user stories during Iteration Planning and help drive agreement on the final iteration plan.
• Monitor backlog flow and preserve priority as the team breaks down and elaborates on work items.
• Work with other Product Owners during each PI to identify and manage dependencies so delivery progresses smoothly.

Requirements

• A completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or an equivalent background built through years of relevant experience and ongoing training.
• Several years of experience in IT management, application management, service management, software development, or product management for IT products.
• Hands-on experience working as a Project Manager or Product Owner in an Agile setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
• SAFe POPM, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or a similar certification is preferred.
• English fluency is required; German fluency is optional.
• Must be willing to travel without restrictions.
