About the Role

Nature Rich Foods Pvt. Ltd. is searching for a seasoned Plant Head to oversee and streamline entire food manufacturing operations at its Butibori facility in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The role emphasizes leadership and expertise specifically in sauces and processed foods production, aiming to uphold high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of the plant's functioning including production, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and product dispatch.
• Maintain uniform quality in sauces production while ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations.
• Develop, implement, and review SOPs along with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP protocols, and other regulatory requirements.
• Drive optimization in production scheduling, cost management, and effective use of resources.
• Lead and motivate plant staff to consistently meet operational goals.
• Facilitate ongoing process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with teams across procurement, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 8 to 10 years of professional experience within the food manufacturing sector, especially handling sauces, condiments, or processed foods.
• Deep familiarity with food safety audits and standards is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage all plant operations effectively.
• Excellent leadership qualities with proven skills in managing teams and driving performance.

Educational Background

• Degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Prior experience in ready-to-eat product manufacturing or sauces segments will be an added advantage.
