Pick By Store Team Member (Fixed Term until Jan 2027)

This fixed-term opportunity is part of the team that keeps store inventory moving efficiently from the DC to the shop floor.

Role Summary

You will work in the Pick by Store team, where the main focus is to prepare store orders accurately and safely so shelves stay stocked and customers are served smoothly. The position runs until the end of January 2027 and is scheduled for Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm. The pay rate for this role is $30.28 per hour.

What You Will Do

• Select inventory for store orders with the help of RF scanners.
• Assemble and secure pallets so they are ready for transport.
• Use electric pallet jacks and other MHE equipment safely.
• Work to meet daily productivity targets and required deadlines.
• Maintain a neat, organised, and safe work area.
• Support the wider DC team to keep operations running efficiently.

Working Conditions and Important Notes

This role supports the peak season through January 2027. Because the period is especially busy, extended leave is unlikely to be approved during this time, including around Christmas and New Year. Public holidays are not worked.

Requirements

• Current OSH Forklift Certificate or F Endorsement is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre is preferred.
• Ability to work quickly while keeping accuracy high.
• Good physical fitness and comfort with lifting, bending, and moving stock throughout the shift.
• Experience using pallet jacks and working safely in a warehouse environment.
• Positive attitude and clear communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Must have legal permission to work in New Zealand.

This position is designed to support TWG’s peak period and is expected to finish at the end of January 2027.
