About the Role

This position is a permanent part-time role offering 30 hours per week within the community hospital inpatient setting at Cirencester Hospital. The organization values clinical leadership, individual professional contributions, and prioritizes ongoing professional development for Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving neurological rehabilitation, falls assessment and prevention, and long-term condition care in a fully integrated MDT environment.
  • Conduct day-to-day Physiotherapy assessments and deliver appropriate interventions independently within the agreed scope of practice.
  • Assist in supervising students and therapy assistants.
  • Provide leadership and support to Physiotherapy assistants within the MDT.
  • Represent Physiotherapy at MDT meetings, contributing to discharge planning and designing support plans for patients.
  • Prioritize daily workload, delegating and assigning tasks to physiotherapy assistants as necessary.

Organizational Culture

The Trust employs over 5000 staff members across more than 55 sites and within patients' homes, fostering an inclusive and welcoming culture centered on civility, diversity, and a sense of belonging and trust.

Staff Engagement and Workplace Environment

  • 61% staff participation in the latest annual and Pulse surveys demonstrates active engagement.
  • 72% of colleagues recommend the Trust as a workplace, ranking it 1st among Provider Trusts in the South West region.
  • 76% would endorse the care quality if recommended to friends or family, also ranking first in the region.
  • 81% agree that patient care is the Trust's priority, above comparable NHS Trust averages.

The Trust remains committed to continuous improvement and aims to maintain a top-tier working environment based on survey insights.
