Job description

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated MSK Physiotherapists who are committed to patient-centered care and looking to advance their specialist skills by joining a supportive and valued MSK team. This role offers more than routine physiotherapy; it provides an opportunity to assist patients in regaining confidence, resuming their favorite activities, and enhancing their overall quality of life each day.

Vacancies and Locations

  • Forest of Dean - Full-time Band 5 MSK Physiotherapist
  • Cirencester - Full-time Band 5 MSK Physiotherapist
  • Tewkesbury - Full-time Band 5 MSK Physiotherapist

Familiarity with the local area and its communities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to manage a designated caseload autonomously, working independently but with access to guidance from senior specialised physiotherapists within the Trust. The responsibilities include prioritising clinical duties, making decisions on patient care, and managing clinical risks associated with your caseload.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Physiotherapy degree and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Prior experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preferably within the NHS, is essential. The role requires working Monday to Friday and collaborating closely with the broader MSK team.

Professional Environment and Development

Our workforce consists of over 5000 committed individuals across a variety of locations and settings, including community clinics and home visits. The Trust actively fosters an inclusive, respectful workplace culture that values diversity, belonging, and trust.

We encourage continuous professional development and provide support for advancing clinical skills to enhance career growth.

Workplace Culture and Engagement

Regular staff and pulse surveys reflect strong employee engagement, with excellent ranking scores across care standards and workplace satisfaction compared to other regional NHS providers. We are committed to becoming a Great Place to Work through continuous improvement and high performance.
