Job Responsibilities
- Possess at least 1 year of experience in AR calling within medical billing, focusing on US healthcare providers, physicians, and hospitals.
- Collaborate closely with team leaders to ensure smooth workflows.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and denial management processes.
- Ensure all deliverables meet established client quality standards.
- Manage denials, rejections, Letters of Authorization (LOAs), and perform necessary corrections on claims.
- Communicate with insurance carriers via phone calls and document activities thoroughly in billing summary notes.
- Regularly review emails for updates and relevant information.
- Identify and escalate issues promptly to immediate supervisors.
- Keep accounts receivable for medical billing claims within acceptable limits.
- Work cooperatively within teams processing medical billing transactions to meet collective objectives.
- Follow up consistently with insurance companies or clients regarding unpaid claims and facilitate collection.
- Adhere strictly to customer business rules, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years experience in AR calling related to US healthcare.
- Familiarity with denial management is essential.
- Prior experience specifically in physician billing within accounts receivable.
- Educational qualification: Any graduate degree or undergraduate completion is acceptable.
