About Myntra

Myntra stands as India's premier fashion and lifestyle platform where innovation meets creativity. Established initially as a customization company in 2007, it has evolved into a tech-driven leader in the fashion e-commerce sector. The company promotes a culture of meritocracy, equal opportunity, and intellectual curiosity, empowering teams with necessary tools and growth prospects.

Program Overview

This Phoenix initiative is a returnship program tailored especially for women resuming careers after a break. Spanning six months on-site in Bengaluru, it offers structured onboarding, customized training, mentorship, practical assignments, and supportive benefits designed to aid a smooth professional transition with potential full-time placement opportunities within Myntra.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive marketplace business development by scouting trending Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands through social media platforms and securing initial sign-ups through strategic outreach.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including contract terms, margin discussions, and final approvals, and manage vendor onboarding processes like KYC and system integrations.
  • Support new brand launches by ensuring rapid gross merchandise value (GMV) growth, maintaining inventory availability, and optimizing product visibility and listings.
  • Monitor seller performance standards, track service level agreements, investigate order defects, and implement improvement plans to uphold account health.
  • Manage customer satisfaction metrics through root cause analyses on returns and feedback, and maintain tier-based seller performance classifications with equitable penalty systems.
  • Advocate and facilitate Just-In-Time (JIT) operational models transitioning select brands to drop-ship logistics, conduct feasibility audits, and coordinate logistics to minimize delays.
  • Break down annual targets into actionable plans, maintain comprehensive dashboards for key business metrics, and prepare detailed analytical reports for executive reviews.
  • Resolve complex seller issues promptly, oversee vendor protection funds to detect fraud, and participate in product development discussions to enhance seller platform usability.
  • Control buying and inbound operations by validating inventory purchase orders, managing stock allocation, and resolving catalog discrepancies to maximize stock availability and sales.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in e-commerce account or category management, brand acquisition, or marketplace operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Fashion Management, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI highly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills dealing with brand founders, national distributors, or corporate clients.
  • In-depth understanding of e-commerce supply chain mechanisms, fulfilment models including Warehouse and JIT/Drop-ship, and experience managing service levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
