About the Opportunity

The NUCLEATE Excellence Cluster focused on Nucleic Acid Sciences and Technologies at Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg is seeking highly motivated PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers to join its interdisciplinary international team. This program encourages active networking, scientific excellence, and provides structured mentoring and training. Researchers will have the chance to engage with diverse scientific groups and present their findings at international conferences, preparing them for careers in academia, industry, entrepreneurship, or policy related to nucleic acid research.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

We invite applications from outstanding individuals of all nationalities who have a strong dedication to nucleic acid science. Applicants for PhD positions should possess a Master’s degree or its equivalent in life sciences, chemistry, medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, bioinformatics, biotechnology, or related areas. Candidates applying for postdoctoral positions must have a doctoral degree in these disciplines.
