Biology Expert - Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a Biology Expert on a contract basis to work remotely. The role involves providing expert analysis and feedback on biological data and content integrated into AI development projects. This position requires collaboration with platform teams to enhance data quality and ensure accurate representation of biological science.

Key Responsibilities

• Critically assess and give comprehensive feedback on biology-related materials used in AI workflows.
• Develop and refine scientific scenarios and questions involving complex, real-world biological issues.
• Provide expert insights to maintain accuracy and depth in AI training data and outputs concerning biology.
• Work with platform teams to clarify unclear points and improve biological data coverage and representation.
• Maintain transparent documentation of findings, methodologies, and reasoning to support project reproducibility.
• Participate actively in iterative reviews and evaluations to advance AI system capabilities in biology.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing sessions to enrich project deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in biology or a closely related life science field.
• Strong expertise in fundamental biological concepts with the capacity to explain complex subjects to varied audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey scientific feedback.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical research evaluation, and synthesis of complex topics.
• Proven independent work capability with consistent delivery of high-quality work within project guidelines.
• Relevant involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technology-driven projects; AI experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to uphold scientific accuracy and rigor.
