Pest Control Technician

Role overview

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician in Adelaide, South Australia. This hands-on field role suits someone who enjoys travelling between sites, solving problems independently, and interacting with a variety of customers. You will support both business and residential clients in and around Adelaide, helping keep their properties free from pests.

What you will do

• Visit commercial and residential properties to check for pest activity or signs of infestation.
• Identify the pest issue and decide on the most effective treatment approach.
• Create and implement pest management plans suited to each site.
• Apply control methods such as traps and baits in affected areas.
• Operate company vehicles fitted with power-spraying equipment.

What is expected from you

• A current Australian driver’s licence.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical checks, reference checks, and police checks as part of recruitment.
• Previous experience working independently and meeting set targets.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with both internal teams and customers, in person and in writing.
• Confidence using a mobile service app or tablet.
• Ability to maintain, develop, and strengthen client relationships.
