Role overview
Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician in Adelaide, South Australia. This hands-on field role suits someone who enjoys travelling between sites, solving problems independently, and interacting with a variety of customers. You will support both business and residential clients in and around Adelaide, helping keep their properties free from pests.
The position is a strong fit for a self-motivated person who appreciates flexibility, works well with minimal supervision, and wants to be supported within a team that invests in its people.
What you will do
- Visit commercial and residential properties to check for pest activity or signs of infestation.
- Identify the pest issue and decide on the most effective treatment approach.
- Create and implement pest management plans suited to each site.
- Apply control methods such as traps and baits in affected areas.
- Operate company vehicles fitted with power-spraying equipment.

What is expected from you
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment medical checks, reference checks, and police checks as part of recruitment.
- Previous experience working independently and meeting set targets.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with both internal teams and customers, in person and in writing.
- Confidence using a mobile service app or tablet.
- Ability to maintain, develop, and strengthen client relationships.
