Role overview

An established Irish insurance broker is looking to add a Personal Lines Account Executive to its growing team. This position is aimed at professionals with personal lines insurance experience who are seeking a move into a supportive brokerage environment with room to progress.

The role is based on site for the first 6 months and then changes to a hybrid working setup. The employer is open to strong candidates from across Ireland, including Cork, Galway, Dublin, Letterkenny, Donegal, Waterford, Tipperary, and other locations depending on where suitable applicants are based.

Pay is stated at €30,000 to €34,000 depending on experience and qualification level.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle renewals, policy amendments, client requests and retention activity.
  • Identify opportunities to increase cover through cross-selling and up-selling across personal lines products.
  • Keep compliance records, client documentation and internal systems updated accurately.
  • Work closely with clients, insurers and colleagues to progress cases efficiently.
  • Contribute to a cooperative and fast-moving team environment.

Requirements

  • APA qualified, or at minimum one APA exam completed through the Irish Insurance Institute.
  • Experience in personal lines insurance, or broader Irish insurance experience, is essential.
  • Applicants must hold Stamp 4 permission or EU citizenship.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and customer service abilities.
  • High attention to detail with good organisation and time management.
  • Comfortable working in a changing and energetic workplace.
  • Experience with Relay is beneficial.
