Job description
Role Overview
The Personal Banker will be responsible for managing the Classic portfolio by attracting new clients and enhancing existing customer relationships through cross-selling while providing outstanding service. The objective is to establish oneself as the primary banker for these clients and maximize the share of wallet.
Core Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets consistently and manage customer benchmarks within the Classic portfolio.
- Develop family group customer relationships to strengthen engagement and profitability.
- Drive income growth by meeting income product benchmarks and expanding wallet size.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM, capturing comprehensive customer interactions and managing asset leads as well as data cleansing.
- Provide superior customer service by resolving complaints expediently and promoting digital banking channels.
- Ensure prompt account opening processes and ongoing communication with customers.
- Prepare daily sales reports and maintain quality standards for acquisition of savings and current accounts.
- Promote and cross-sell products such as Demat accounts, Bill Pay services, advisory offerings, mutual funds, insurance, and bonds.
- Monitor and track large account transactions to prevent customer attrition.
- Adhere strictly to KYC guidelines and maintain high organizational standards including 5-S methodology.
- Administer locker services and manage standing instructions accurately.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for all account openings and related instructions.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum educational qualification: Graduation; Post-graduation is preferred.
- Certifications required: NISM V-A, IRDA, and General Insurance certifications.
