Role Overview
We are seeking a Band 4 Personal Assistant to join the General Medicine Management team on a permanent full-time basis (36 hours per week, with negotiable hours), located at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. The role focuses on delivering high-level administrative support to senior management within General Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer comprehensive administrative support to the General Medicine Senior Management team.
- Coordinate diaries, schedule meetings and appointments efficiently.
- Prepare and organize documentation, including reports, databases, SSTS, and eESS systems.
- Serve as a communication link between management and internal or external stakeholders.
- Assist with organizing and managing departmental projects and initiatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the management team.
- Take meeting minutes during Service Specialty meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a Personal Assistant or in a comparable administrative role.
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and related software tools.
- Capability to work both independently and within fast-paced team environments.
Additional Information
This position is expected to attract significant interest and may close prior to the advertised deadline. Interviews will take place approximately two weeks after closing. Working hours follow a Monday to Friday schedule.
