Location

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement is Grade 10; an equivalent of Grade 12 or higher is preferred.
• Holding a valid Fireman's Certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License is required.
• Previous experience within the caretaking field is considered beneficial.
• Preferred knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, products, and equipment.
• Basic mechanical and plumbing skills and aptitude are important.
• Must be capable of safely and efficiently operating tractors, mowers, and similar equipment.
• Familiarity with computers and relevant software applications is expected.
• Understanding of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System is necessary.
• Strong dedication to the principles of public education and alignment with the mission, vision, and guiding values of the South East Cornerstone School Division.

Salary and Benefits

Compensation and benefits adhere to the SEIU-West Collective Agreement currently in effect. The starting hourly wage is $23.49, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package and employer-sponsored pension plan.
