Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out screening processes for passengers, employees, luggage, and vehicles
  • Operate various security screening equipment effectively
  • Provide clear, polite communication to passengers and manage queues to facilitate smooth flow
  • Maintain vigilance on security protocols, reporting any concerns promptly
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and access control for restricted zones
  • Support emergency response during unforeseen airport incidents
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Legal authorization to live and work in Ireland
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Availability and willingness to work shifts covering all hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays as part of a 24/7 rotation
  • Capability to meet criteria for Irish Aviation Authority certification
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities alongside a professional and composed demeanor
  • Comfortable working in busy, high-traffic and peak seasonal environments
  • Basic proficiency with computers
  • Minimum educational attainment equivalent to a Leaving Certificate

Additional Requirements

  • Completion of aptitude tests
  • Successful five-year background check including Garda Vetting
  • Passing a medical evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Identity Card
