Role overview
This is a senior strategic leadership opportunity focused on accelerating growth across promising African markets. The position is based in Ireland and is managed through a partner company, which handles applications and the next steps in the hiring process. You will own the performance marketing direction for the region, deciding how media investment is distributed across channels and how growth is scaled in a sustainable way.
The role brings together performance marketing, brand thinking, and analytics. It calls for someone who can connect data to strategy, collaborate closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, and operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving, international environment.
Accountabilities
- Set the regional performance marketing strategy and growth plan for African markets.
- Define the strategic approach to paid acquisition across Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic channels, and mobile DSPs.
- Lead high-level portfolio planning and decide how investment should be split across markets and channels.
- Work with brand and media teams on large-scale initiatives such as ATL, OOH, and partnerships.
- Help align priorities across product, analytics, creative, and marketing functions.
- Convert detailed performance data into clear strategic insight and practical growth guidance.
- Support executive leadership with input on market opportunity, marketing direction, and investment choices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in performance marketing, user acquisition, or digital growth.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of major paid media platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, programmatic advertising, and DSPs.
- Advanced analytical ability with confidence in using data to shape strategy.
- Good understanding of funnels, attribution models, and core digital marketing principles.
- Background in fast-scaling, data-led, or international business settings.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to executive-level discussions.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
- French or Portuguese language ability is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package suitable for a senior leadership position.
- Fully remote arrangement across EMEA.
- Chance to lead regional strategy in fast-growing African markets.
- High autonomy and significant strategic ownership.
- Direct collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Access to advanced marketing, analytics, and attribution tools.
- International, fast-paced, and performance-focused work culture.
- Opportunity to influence large-scale growth with meaningful business impact.
