About the Role
Join Samsung Electronics Australia as a People Operations Coordinator and help shape the future with one of the world's fastest growing technology companies. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, offboarding, probation periods, internal transfers, and flexible working requests.
- Ensure employee records are accurately maintained across systems including Workday, Enboarder, Knox Portal, and various internal trackers.
- Prepare employment-related documents such as employment letters, contract variations, and confirmations of employment.
- Serve as the initial contact point for HR inquiries from staff and leadership concerning policies, procedures, and people management systems.
- Offer guidance and support to managers and employees around HR policies, the Fair Work Act, employment contracts, and relevant labor laws.
- Assist in organizing monthly induction sessions by coordinating schedules and liaising with stakeholders to engage participants effectively.
- Collaborate with the People Operations Lead to keep HR policies and procedures up to date in line with legislative changes and corporate standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a People Operations or HR Coordinator role within a global company.
- Strong ability to interpret employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Familiarity with Workday, Employment Hero, and/or Cornerstone LMS is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data management, reporting, and basic analysis.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong time management skills.
- High confidentiality and ethical standards when dealing with sensitive information.

Work Environment
This position requires working onsite full-time, five days a week at the Sydney Olympic Park office, fostering strong team connections while supporting flexibility for life’s demands. The role may occasionally require extra hours beyond the standard 37.5-hour workweek, including work outside typical business hours.
