Job description

About the Role

You would be joining a fast-growing B2B software business that is known for practical, forward-thinking products and a strong focus on employee experience. The company is in a key scaling phase, creating a chance to shape the people function in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and roll out a people plan that uses data and supports the company’s growth goals.
  • Lead initiatives that improve employee engagement, wellbeing, and a healthy remote-first culture.
  • Handle the full recruitment cycle and onboarding process to help bring in and retain strong talent.
  • Support performance management and learning and development activity to build effective teams.
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor, manage employee relations issues, and make sure policies and practices remain compliant.
  • Improve HR processes, tools, systems, and workforce analytics on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

  • Recent experience as an HR Generalist or People Partner in a small but expanding software or SaaS company.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Evidence of supporting scaling businesses and working closely with senior leaders.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge, with the confidence to manage cases independently.
  • Background in recruitment, onboarding, and broader people development work.
  • Comfort working with HR platforms, reporting tools, and people data.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive pay plus a discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits package that includes private healthcare, an improved pension contribution, and life assurance.
  • Flexible working arrangement with remote working and occasional office visits in London or Glasgow.
  • Allocated monthly time for training and professional development.

Additional Information

This is a remote-friendly full-time role based in the United Kingdom, with occasional in-office days in London or Glasgow.

The role sits within a company that is expanding quickly, so the successful candidate will be expected to help build scalable people practices and contribute to a positive employee experience.
