Role Overview
As a People and Culture Executive, you will be fundamental in nurturing a dynamic workplace culture by managing the complete employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include onboarding, engagement, payroll, performance management, wellbeing, and employee relations. Acting as a cultural ambassador, you will ensure that every employee interaction embodies the spirited, bold, and people-centric ethos of SLS The Red Sea.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and enhance employee experiences through onboarding, induction, offboarding, and daily People & Culture operations.
- Provide employees with confidential guidance regarding policies, benefits, procedures, and relations.
- Assist the People Development Manager in organizing engagement initiatives, training, learning, recognition, and wellbeing programs to promote a positive work culture.
- Manage the performance appraisal cycle collaborating with department heads, including feedback, development, and succession planning.
- Ensure the accuracy of employee records, HRIS data, payroll inputs, and compliance with company policies and Saudi labour regulations.
- Support payroll functions, benefits administration, settlements, and address employee queries by liaising with Finance.
- Handle employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary processes, and uphold an inclusive and respectful workplace.
- Organize accommodation inspections, transportation arrangements, and welfare services for team members.
- Participate in internal audits, compliance enforcement, health and safety efforts, and continuous process improvements within People & Culture.
- Contribute actively to special projects, resort pre-opening activities, and departmental initiatives to embed SLS’s cultural vision.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years’ experience in People & Culture or HR Generalist roles in luxury hotels, lifestyle brands, luxury residences, or remote hospitality settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations, including payroll, employee relations, performance cycles, engagement, recruitment support, and policy management.
- Deep understanding of Saudi Labour Law and best practices in hospitality HR.
- Experience handling confidential HR documentation, employee records, and HRIS platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in fast-paced environments.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- A passion for cultivating memorable employee experiences and a positive work atmosphere.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
