Role Overview

The People and Culture Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the People & Culture department's daily functions, ensuring efficient handling of HR administration, maintaining precise employee records, and facilitating all stages of employee lifecycle. This role involves promoting compliance with company policies and labor laws, enhancing the employee journey, coordinating internal programs, and sustaining a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HR administrative tasks accurately and confidentially to support People & Culture department operations.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration of new hires and manage employee lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain thorough documentation including contracts, employment letters, certificates, and salary revisions.
  • Keep HR records, files, and systems current to guarantee data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist recruitment by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Support learning and development through organizing training, tracking attendance, and maintaining progress records.
  • Collaborate with Government Relations and other stakeholders to fulfill all employee documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate payroll processes by monitoring attendance, leave, overtime, and allowances relevant to payroll calculations.
  • Produce HR reports, analyze employee data, and update systems to aid informed decision-making.
  • Manage employee accommodation arrangements in cooperation with relevant departments.
  • Communicate People & Culture policies, updates, and announcements effectively to staff.
  • Oversee exit procedures ensuring all legal and policy requirements are met.
  • Maintain a professional People & Culture environment, providing exceptional employee support.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle employee information with sensitivity and professionalism, fostering a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources or related People & Culture roles, particularly in hospitality.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and compliance standards.
  • Competence with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with precision and capability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on employee engagement.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information with high integrity.
  • Proactive, flexible, and solution-driven mindset suited to a dynamic multicultural workplace.
