About the Company
Yara Brunsbüttel GmbH is a subsidiary of the Norwegian group Yara International ASA. Its Brunsbüttel facility manufactures ammonia, urea, and technical nitrogen-based products such as AdBlue / Air1 used for NOx reduction.
Role Overview
The company is looking to strengthen its HR team at the Brunsbüttel production site with an experienced Payroll Specialist / Entgeltabrechner*in (m/w/d) available as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently and on time run payroll for a defined group of employees.
- Serve as the contact person for specialists and managers on all HR-related questions.
- Handle payroll processing for retirees and act as the main point of contact for payroll matters in this area.
- Maintain and update employee master data and time-management records.
- Support the full employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
- Prepare certificates, evaluations, statistics, and reports.
- Contribute actively to HR projects and assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
Profile
- Completed commercial or business-related vocational training.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll administration.
- Exposure to occupational pension schemes and retiree payroll processing is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll tax, social security, and collective bargaining rules.
- Confident use of payroll systems and prior experience with digital time-tracking tools is desirable.
- Service-oriented mindset, plus a careful, independent, responsible, and discreet working style.
- English skills and familiarity with shift work are beneficial, but not required.
