What You'll Do

- Track payroll tax obligations and assist with timely filing and payment activities.
- Set up payroll tax accounts for new clients or entities when required.
- Administer 401(k) contribution processing and make sure remittances are completed on time.

- Manage the full employee onboarding process from beginning to end.
- Support yearly audits and benefit renewal tasks.
- Respond to payroll questions from clients and employees in a clear and timely way.
Qualifications
This role is best suited to someone with at least 5 years of payroll experience, ideally in a setting with multiple clients or entities. You should understand payroll tax rules, compliance requirements, and benefit deductions, and be comfortable using systems such as Paychex, Intuit, or similar tools. The role also requires strong organization, careful attention to detail, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and solid communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience and aligned with market compensation. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, generous paid time off, paid firm holidays, and a discretionary performance bonus.
Additional Information
This is a remote, full-time opportunity. Benefits eligibility depends on the position, hours worked, and other qualifying criteria, and more details will be shared during the hiring process.
