Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer with a passion for accuracy, problem-solving, and employee support. Key Responsibilities

• Execute timely and precise processing of payroll including base salaries, overtime, and payroll adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile payroll data, swiftly addressing any inconsistencies.
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, awards, and organizational policies.
• Generate payroll reports and retain necessary documentation.
• Provide prompt, professional responses to employee payroll inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, IT, and payroll colleagues to refine workflows and operations.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of comprehensive payroll processing experience, preferably with Chris21 software.
• Sound understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and award guidelines.
• Familiarity with payroll and HRIS platforms such as Chris21, Kronos, or Workday.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem resolution skills, and respect for confidentiality.
• Effective communication and aptitude for stakeholder collaboration.
• Capability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in intermediate Excel features, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
