Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer with a passion for accuracy, problem-solving, and employee support. Join our dynamic Payroll team engaged in a supportive and collaborative environment focused on growth. The role involves managing complete payroll processing and maintaining compliance to offer excellent service to employees and related departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute timely and precise processing of payroll including base salaries, overtime, and payroll adjustments.
- Maintain and reconcile payroll data, swiftly addressing any inconsistencies.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws, awards, and organizational policies.
- Generate payroll reports and retain necessary documentation.
- Provide prompt, professional responses to employee payroll inquiries.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, IT, and payroll colleagues to refine workflows and operations.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of comprehensive payroll processing experience, preferably with Chris21 software.
- Sound understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and award guidelines.
- Familiarity with payroll and HRIS platforms such as Chris21, Kronos, or Workday.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem resolution skills, and respect for confidentiality.
- Effective communication and aptitude for stakeholder collaboration.
- Capability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in intermediate Excel features, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
